Due to the economical climate the Jean Childs Young Institute for Youth Leadership is having to close our doors after 17 1/2 years serving youth in our communities.
We have reached thousands of youth by speaking about issues that are affecting young people each day. We are proud of our teens that have lead our conferences, forums, gun give back, Martin Luther King Day March, teen summits, city tours, outreach programs, school supplies drives, volunteer activities and so many other community based outreach festivities. We know that our services are needed for today's youth.
On behalf of the Executive Director, Board and Youth Members we are sincerely grateful for the time that we have spent serving our community through leadership, advocacy, collaboration and service.
